Western Australia has the ingredients to become a trusted green compute hub for the Indo-Pacific — renewables potential, critical minerals, space, political and economic stability, time-zone alignment with Southeast Asia, emerging subsea connectivity & proximity to high-growth digital markets.
Meanwhile demand is accelerating in Southeast Asia for clean, secure, scalable compute and data infrastructure. Realising this potential requires more than vision: it demands aligned planning, investment readiness, streamlined permitting pathways, technical coordination and credible outcomes for local communities and ecosystems.
This roundtable convenes hyperscalers, data centre and edge providers, distributed infrastructure builders, energy transition leaders, government and regional stakeholders to map a practical delivery pathway for WA’s green compute opportunity.
