Rachael Jones

Rachael Jones has a strong background in digital asset economics, finance, and blockchain technology. She is Operations Lead at AUDD, Australia's premier Australian dollar-backed stablecoin for institutional-grade payments and digital commerce, and 2025 Blockies Startup of the Year. She is also a researcher with the Centre for Digital Economic Analysis.
Her approach is grounded in a rigorous academic foundation, holding a Master's degree in Financial Economics and a Diploma in Applied Blockchain. She is currently undertaking a PhD in the Faculty of Computer Science at QUT, investigating the economic and societal impacts of blockchain technologies.
Rachael combines technical expertise with strategic insight to drive industry development and shape digital asset policy across the Asia-Pacific. She was awarded Women of the Year at the 2025 BlockchainNZ Awards.
